Scarlett Johansson was born in New York City to Melanie Sloan (of Polish descent) and Karsten Johansson (of Danish descent). Scarlett showed a passion for acting at a young age and starred in many plays. She has a sister named Vanessa Johansson, a brother named Adrian, and a twin brother named Hunter Johansson born three minutes after her. She began her acting career in 1994 starring as "Laura Nelson" in North (1994). In 1998, the acclaimed film The Horse Whisperer (1998) brought Johansson critical praise and worldwide recognition. Following the film's success, she starred in many other films including the critically acclaimed cult film Ghost World (2001) and then the hit Lost in Translation (2003) with Bill Murray in which she again stunned critics. Later on, she appeared in Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003). In 2003, she was nominated for two Golden Globes, one for drama (Girl with a Pearl Earring (2003)) and one for comedy (Lost in Translation (2003)). She dropped out of Mission: Impossible III (2006) due to scheduling conflicts. Her next film role was in The Island (2005) alongside Ewan McGregor which earned weak reviews from U.S. critics. After this, she appeared in Woody Allen's Match Point (2005) and was nominated again for a Golden Globe.

Caroline Bouvier Kennedy (born November 27, 1957) is an American author and attorney. She is a member of the influential American Kennedy family and the only surviving child of U.S. President John F. Kennedy and First Lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy. At the time of her father's presidency she was a young child; after his assassination in 1963, her family settled in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where she attended school. Kennedy graduated from Radcliffe College and worked at New York City's Metropolitan Museum of Art, where she met her future husband, exhibit designer Edwin Schlossberg. She went on to receive a J.D. degree from Columbia Law School. Kennedy's professional life has spanned law and politics as well as education and charitable work. She has also acted as a spokesperson for her family's legacy and co-authored two books on civil liberties with Ellen Alderman. In the 2008 presidential election, Kennedy endorsed Democratic candidate Barack Obama for President early in the primary race; she later stumped for him in Orlando, Indiana, and Ohio, served as co-chair of his Vice Presidential Search Committee, and addressed the 2008 Democratic National Convention in Denver. After Obama's selection of then-Senator Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State, Kennedy expressed interest in being appointed to Clinton's vacant Senate seat from New York, but she later withdrew from consideration, citing "personal reasons."


Through a spokeswoman, Kennedy said that she supports legislation legalizing same-sex marriage, is pro-choice, is a strong supporter of gun control, opposes the death penalty, and favors restoring the Federal Assault Weapons Ban, which expired in 2004. She believes the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) should be looked at again, supports the federal bailout of American automakers, and says she "opposed the Iraq War from the beginning." Kennedy has stated that she believes that Jerusalem should be the undivided capital city of Israel. She has also stated that "Israel's security decisions should be left to Israel." With regard to the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, Kennedy has stated that she "supports a two-state peace solution for Israel, so long as there is a true partner for peace in the Palestinians, and so long as Israel's security is assured."

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is a reality television program on the Bravo network which originally followed the lives of five women in and around several upscale communities in Northern New Jersey. It is the network's fourth installation of The Real Housewives of... series, following The Real Housewives of Orange County, The Real Housewives of New York City and The Real Housewives of Atlanta. At the time of its airing, part 1 of the series' second season reunion had the highest-rated episode ever out of the entire franchise. The third season of the series premiered on May 16, 2011, at 9pm on Bravo, for a 90 minute episode. Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile are the newest housewives that were added. On June 7, 2011 Bravo renewed the series for a fourth season due to its record breaking ratings, and it has already begun filming and ready to end filming for season 4.



Claudine "Dina" Manzo (née Laurita) (born March 7, 1972) is a mother, interior decorator, and the founder of the non-profit organization, Project Ladybug. She and her family live in the affluent town of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. She has been married to Tommy Manzo, co-owner of the event and catering facility The Brownstone, since 2005. Manzo is her second husband. Tommy's brother and business partner, Albert Manzo, is the husband of Dina's older sister and cast mate, Caroline, making the two also sisters-in-law. Their wedding was featured on the VH1 television show My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding. Dina has a daughter, Alexia ("Lexi", born on January 25, 1996) from her previous marriage to George Hadjiapostoli (co-owner of Nisha nail salon in Wayne, New Jersey). Season 1 focuses on the struggles Dina, like many other mothers, faces as Alexia grows up. Dina's foundation, Project Ladybug, is dedicated to supporting St.Joseph's Hospital Paterson and helping children with cancer. In 2010, Dina produced the return of the Off-Broadway comedy, My Big Gay Italian Wedding, at the St. Luke's Theatre in New York City. Dina will be hosting her own show, Dina's Party, on HGTV early this fall. The show will follow her event planning company, known for its outlandish celebrations and parties. It premieres September 10th, 2011.

Michaele Salahi has been kidnapped, her husband claims. Tareq Salahi tells TMZ that he last saw the "Real Housewives of D.C." star at their home in Virginia around 11 a.m. Monday before leaving to go to their winery, and that she has been missing ever since. Tareq says Michaele called him late Monday night and told him she was going to her mother's house nearby, but that her mother hadn't heard from her. When he called the Warren County Sheriff's Dept. for help, he says he was told that Michaele had already called the police to let them know she is OK and is simply dealing with some “family issues.” Tareq, however, believes his wife was forced to make the calls, and has issued a statement asking the public for help. "It is our belief as of last night, that Michaele Salahi may have been kidnapped or abducted and being held under duress and forced to tell persons, including authorities she is okay," he said, according to TMZ.


"We are asking the public to please be on the look out for her, and if found please contact the authorities." The Salahis have been in -- or searching for -- the spotlight since they famously crashed a state dinner at the White House in 2009 (they claim they were invited). They were featured on the Bravo reality show "The Real Housewives of D.C.," which debuted in August 2010 but was canceled this year after one season. The Salahis are planning their big comeback this month by reopening their Virginia winery, which filed for bankruptcy in December 2008. Its assets are set to be auctioned off on September 18, after which Salahis plan to reopen it with an invitation-only party that will be filmed for a "major reality show" in development, according to Tareq.
